Fibrecount
Environmental Control
Fibrecount was established as an environmental laboratory in
Belgium in 1985. Since the very beginning Fibrecount has
specialised in asbestos research, asbestos inventories and the
measuring of asbestos levels. Fibrecount is the market leader in
the Benelux countries and Spain. |

Fibrecount’s mission is to contribute to health and safety in
both living and work surroundings. The laboratory examines water,
air, ground and material samples for the possible presence of
hazardous substances and bacteria such as asbestos and Legionella.
Every year more than 100,000 samples are analysed in our head
offices in Rotterdam and Antwerp using the most up-to-date equipment
and following strict rules and guidelines. Furthermore, we have a
fleet of more than sixty mobile laboratories for carrying out air
measurements on location, taking material samples, and analysing and
carrying out asbestos inventories.
A team of over 100 professional employees at Fibrecount is
available to answer any questions you may have concerning asbestos,
Legionella, ARBO and any other related safety issues. In the event
of an emergency situation we are reachable 24 hours a day at our
central office in Rotterdam.
